Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche will host the Second Edition of the International Congress “The Brain and the Chip” on November 11–13, 2024. First held in December 2022, the event brings together renowned experts in fields such as Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), artificial vision, neuroengineering, and artificial intelligence (AI), among others.
The congress will feature the participation of leading researchers and representatives from major technology companies and universities from around the world, who will share the latest advances in these emerging disciplines. Following the success of its first edition, “The Brain and the Chip” has established itself as a leading forum for discussing and exploring the frontiers of technology and neuroscience, connecting the scientific community with industry in an environment of collaboration and innovation.
Among the topics to be addressed during this second edition are the latest trends in neurotechnology, recent advances in brain-machine interfaces, and the role of artificial intelligence in understanding and enhancing the human mind. In addition, case studies and practical developments will be presented to illustrate how these technologies are transforming sectors such as medicine, robotics, and computing.
